Gloria J. Lance:

Gloria J. Lance, M.S., ARWA Treasurer, of South Abington Township, along with husband Jack and daughter Emily has resided in South Abington for over 25 years. Gloria maintainsher appointment to South Abington Sewer Authority for more than 20 years and to AWRA since 2000. Her experience in community service is sustained by a belief that every contribution will bring about a greater good. Her active involvement in the alumni board of Keystone College, Leadership Lackawanna, the Junior League of Scranton as well as state and local organizations related to her field have been instrumental in preparing her to work towards each goal successfully. Gloria is a graduate of Keystone Junior College, Millersville University and the University of Scranton Masters Program. Her degree in Elementary and Special Education prepared her for her career with Keystone Community Resources, Inc. as Director of Vocational Services. There almost 40 years Gloria has developed programs ranging from summer camps and day options to vocational training. Her knowledge of programming , her education and continuing education enables her to understand needs and apply processes for organizational benefit. Hence, Gloria’s involvement with her township has benefited from her love of learning and assisting the Abingtons become a better place to live.
